Edge of Sky: Creation Stories II

from Creation Stories by Misha Penton

The second of three Misha Micro-Operas in the full moon-sacred series Creation Stories released on the Autumn Full Moons. This one, below, celebrates the October Full Moon in Aries: Edge of Sky is inspired by a fragment of Norse cosmogony in the Icelandic Poetic Edda, circa 13th century CE

No sea, no sand
No waves, no land
No earth, no sky
No forests
Sun holds a sliver of moon
She grasps the edge of sky
Night is named, moon is named
Morning named, midday named
Afternoon and evening named
And the wheel of time begins to spin
